Armani Jeans cotton jacket

Nice lightweight gray buttoned jacket from AJ Armani Jeans. In excellent used condition EXCEPT for 2 things: 1. last photo shows one of the (many!) buttons on one sleeve cuff is missing, and 2. no belt. If someone can explain to me why there are belts on short jackets in the first place, I'm all ears! The first thing I personally would have done to this jacket is cut off the loops and toss the belt, but maybe that's just me. Size 8; measurements in photos.
