Pant Waist and length? What type of suit cut is it

pants are 16' (US 32) and they've been hemmed professionally to 29,5' (but the fabric was not cut so they can be extended) The Suit is M-Line Drop 8 (modern cut)
re-poshing a few (nice) suits that I bought, but turned out to be too small for me.
