This rare Art Deco celluloid blue marbled dressing table makeup/trinket box was cutting edge when it was created in Toronto in the early 1930's by the Ivoris Company.. Playing on the ever popular Asian/Chinoiserie design movement, this box is perfect for storing makeup, jewelry, or other trinkets and valuables. The box itself measures 8"x4"x4" and features a stylized phoenix on the lid and dragon details on the lid and box. The colour is a marbled blue with a detailed black base and is in excellent condition with no visible damage, cracks or chips.
