Art Deco Compact by Marathon

1930’s compact by Marathon. White metal, signed Marathon on edge of trim around mirror. Not able to ID metal, but it is depression era manufacturing so it has been worked and made to look like expensive silver. Bears the initials of original owner and no doubt those of her sweetheart who gifted it to her. WRT / BAB. Beautiful little deco chain to wear decoratively around your wrist. Mirror is still in tact and quite clear, so you can use this for mirror or simply put on display for its Deco design. Showing lots of her last century’s use. Condition is used, antique condition consistent with almost 100 years of use and age. Selling as found.
