It has an elegant shape with 2 small handles and a finely detailed Celtic knotted band around the waist. Abbey pewter was the trademark of Osborne & Company, Sheffield, England dating ca 1919/1920-1939 (squarely in the Art Deco period). The firm traded at Abbey works in Rockingham Street until about 1939, after which Osborne & Co (Sheffield) Ltd apparently became part of Sipelia Group, but was liquidated in 1970. Condition: With some marks of age and use, but overall in good vintage condition without deep scratches or dents. Size: 6-1/4 inches tall (16 cm), the top opening diameter is 4-3/4 inches (12 cm) *wooden utensils NOT included*
