The Lady Hamilton silverplate flatware pattern was introduced through Community Plate by Oneida in 1932 and discontinued in 1955. Community was Oneida's best quality line, and this pattern has a beautiful art deco feel that will complement a variety of dinner settings. You may already own a few pieces of this pattern and wish to add to this, or you may have guests coming over for the holidays and would like the spruce up the dinner table for the festive season. This would a perfect set to gift to newlyweds or someone starting their life afresh.
Oneida flatware originated from the utopian Oneida Community in New York, USA.
You will receive all pieces pictured and the original Community Plate storage box:
- 8 New French hollow dinner knives 9-5/8"
- 8 dinner forks 7 5/8"
- 8 round bowl soup spoons (Gumbo) 7"
- 8 dessert / tea spoons 6 1/8"
- 8 Five o´clock teaspoons 5 1/4"
- 8 Demitasse spoons 4 1/2"
- 1 Solid Pierced Pie Server 10 3/4"
- 1 Cold meats / serving fork 8 1/2"
- 2 individual salad forks 6 3/4" (also great as small serving forks)
- 1 sugar spoon 6"
- 2 master butter knives 7"
All pieces are in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear to their finish, and there may still be some discoloration left despite me having polished the lot. The forks mostly with wear to the tines, the knives with wear to the handles.
These items *could* be put in the dishwasher in a pinch, but it´ll wear the plating off. Handwashing is recommended.
