Art Nouveau 19th century antique solid brass jug by Joseph Sankey and Sons

A beautiful late 19th century jug with a large spout and a wonderful Art Nouveau repoussé design, of curvaceous flowers and nature-inspired forms. Produced by Joseph Sankey and Sons of Wolverhampton, England. This could easily be brought back to a gleaming brass colour but as patina can’t be put back on, it’s left in its current state for those like me who appreciate the age. A beautiful antique brass jug with large spout, probably for water, likely from the late 19th – early 20th century.
