Art Nouveau Enamel and Silver Hinged Peacock Brooch from Siam

Late 19th century or early 20th century silver and enamel peacock broach from Siam. The tail is hinged so it can be lowered allowing the broach to become free-standing. Red head plumes. Yellow and green chest band with central flower. Tail eyes are green with yellow heart centers. This is in excellent condition. It has come to us from our Great Grandmother's jewelry collection.
