Ebony is an exceptionally hard and dense beautiful black wood found in East Africa. Talented artisans use this wood to make carvings in traditional, contemporary, and functional styles. These candle stands have the same tribal theme and are in different shades of the natural solid dark wood. Measuring 10.25" tall and 2.25" in diameter, weighing just under 1 pound each, both are in good condition, and the wear is consistent with their age and use.
