Artisan Handcrafted African Tribal Ironwood Male Female Bust Candlestick Holders In very good pre-owned condition, but male candleholder has small imperfection on base (see pix) Size 10.25" high x 2.25" diameter This is a unique set of two vintage African folk art ironwood (ebony wood) figural formed candle holder carvings from Tanzania, carved and etched with male and female heads on each holder. Ebony is an exceptionally hard and dense beautiful black wood found in East Africa. Talented artisans use this wood to make carvings in traditional, contemporary, and functional styles. These candle stands have the same tribal theme and are in different shades of the natural solid dark wood. Measuring 10.25" tall and 2.25" in diameter, weighing just under 1 pound each, both are in good condition, and the wear is consistent with their age and use. We use recycled materials to ship our products. **** If you’re new to Poshmark - Welcome!
