Authentic Chanel 100% silk yardage - 5 yards

Authentic Chanel red silk yardage - 5 yards. This fabric was purchased at the Textile Museum of Canada in 2022. It was tested by both the museum and myself and confirmed to be 100% silk. As per the museum staff, a collection of couture fabrics was donated to the museum, for sale in their Textile Reuse Program, which profits the museum. The Chanel logo is actually woven into the fabric - not printed. This is a premium twill of the type the fashion house uses to line suit jackets (see picture of jacket). The soft drape would make it perfect for a 90's-style slip dress or classic pajamas. There is enough fabric here to have a tailor custom-make something really special! I have priced this fabric at $100 /per yard, which is an extremely reasonable price for silk of this quality.
