Soft comfortable rayon. FLAW: I wore it and washed it once, and the collar came out looking out of shape. It doesn't look new anymore but it's good shape It requires ironing or pinning. The rest of the dress does not need ironing in my opinion unless you want that perfectly pressed look.

imyself60 I could wear XL, depending on the maker, I can’t trust it just like that. For me to make a decision, I will need: Pit 2 pit, length, waist, and shoulder to shoulder measurements in inches please. My perfect length is 45” Thank you!

colorbuff @imyself60 Hi. The bust is 21 inches across, pit to pit (so 42 inches total). The waist is 36 inches. The shoulders are 16 inches (measured from the back). The total length is 45 inches, so your perfect length. I am going to add a photo of the actual dress so you can see the way the collar is after wash and why I think it requires ironing at the collar.

colorbuff @imyself60 I added photos of the actual dress. I hope they help you make your decicison. What I like about these Indian dresses is that they are usually generous with sizing and these particuilar dresses (called Anarkali) are very wide on the bottom and have a lot of fabric. Of course it doesn't look as wide when worn. But the amount of fabric makes a difference.
