Authentic Japanese Kimono | Vintage | Komon | Silk Plants Flowers Kiribame Style

👘 This komon kimono with cut-in style (or “kiribame” in Japanese) is made of natural silk. 🎨 The colour of it is dark brown. I think the pictures have captured the true tune quit well. 🧵 Kiribame refers to a technique that stacks different types of clothes to form complex design. Especially from the end of the Muromachi period to the Momoyama period, it became popular as a pattern for kosodeya and body clothes, and the expensive fabrics that came in at that time were effectively used. 👠 The style of this kimono is called Komon, a casual wear similar to T-shirts and can be worn to a coffee shop or lunch date. This should be worn only during Fall, as many kimonos have patterns that represents the season. ⚠️ I cannot find any spots. 🪡 This is in great condition for wearing.
