Authentic Vintage Chinese Carved Soapstone Brush Pot Sculpture Birds Leaves EUC

Vintage Asian carved Soapstone This came to me with a large collection of similar sculptures, some dated as far back as the 1910s, and others not dated. This sculpture is undated but does have the word China carved into the base. This sculpture shows a small wide bowl on one side with elaborately carved bird and other decor on the other side, with a gorgeous ornate base. Could be used as decor as-is, or as a ring dish, candle holder (with the right size candle), etc. The detail in this sculpture is stunning and this piece has gorgeous, unique colors - deep reds with black spots throughout. Due to the nature of Soapstone there will be discrepancies in the texture, color, etc. with small fissures, scratches, and the like, but there is no damage to disclose. In excellent vintage condition all around. A solid piece weighing in at about 277g Measures approx 6" wide, 2.75" high, 2.25" deep
