40cm width vintage Sac Souple. All Vachetta is fairly patinad and damaged but with regular conditioning will last for a very long time still. The Vachetta must be conditioned very soon as it is getting dry. I did take it on a trip recently with no issues Original Eclair Brass zipper. Canvas on the bag is in very nice shape for its age with minimal fading or scuffing. Overall solid bag to use as carry-on. Keepall

nicholasallan @theresamaracle No, this style is old. You could have the handles redone to be longer at a local leather shop. I don’t believe they ever made a bandouliere version of the sac souple. Keepall bags didn’t use to have the shoulder strap either and now it’s optional.

cchristine1996 @nicholasallan Thank you. I Don't see the authenticity tag to verify it. It should have a tag inside that says genuine leather, made in Italy

nicholasallan @cchristine1996 LV is French heritage so would be made in France and not say genuine leather as it’s cotton canvas that the monogram is printed on. The straps and trim are vachetta leather. This bag is also too old for a date code as it’s pre 1982. The “Louis Vuitton made in France” Text is on the one of the leather end tabs. Hope this helps 👍

nicholasallan @cchristine1996 No problem. Also note that for longevity this bag will absolutely need the leather conditioned if you buy it. That is the straps around the bag and the handles. It’s still okay, but is dry from age. Just want to make sure you know that. I did write in the description but just like to make sure people know what to expect! Cheers

nicholasallan @theresamaracle It’s an old bag with wear, the length stamp on it is no longer visible and would be underneath the exterior tag at the end of the zipper that says “Louis Vuitton made in France. I can post pictures of the rivets, but again as it’s vintage the zipper is a brass eclair single zip.
