These are south pearls.
Looks to be Akoya pearls based on my research
This is a real find.
All of my Pearl necklaces are real unless otherwise noted.
This one is particularly special because it’s from the 50’s also it’s hand knotted
Also the the pearls are nearly identical in size.

@rosalierleger they are real pearls but I don’t know what type of pearls it is. The clasp looks to be from 40’s-50’s. I got them at a jewelry market. Sorry I’m not sure what more I can say. They are very close in size but not all equal and they feel gritty on the teeth.
