Autograph (6) peplum top in wool, vintage.

Autograph was the Marks & Spencer young British designer label, promoting British materials (wool), and this top has beautiful details and tailoring, with layered peplum detail below waist, long sleeves with pleat at cuff. Good pre-loved condition. Was dry-cleaned in the past,, so will not further shrink. Shows signs of wear on surface of wool, but only in bright light, and these photos were taking in blinding sunlight. Pop-over top. No problem getting it over head. Bought it in London in 2000. No smells, snags, or tears.. Matches the A-line wool skirt, also in black, with floral motif on organza fabric. Fabric is 80% and 20% polyamid. Pit to pit: 17" A wearable collector's item.
