Azurite Malachite and Silver Necklace and Matching Earrings

This set is composed of an ethereal marriage of smoothly polished rounded edge chicklets of French blue azurite and emerald green banded malachite interspaced with curved esses of sterling silver "threads". The stones were probably mined in the Timna Valley mine in Israel. The necklace is 43 inches long so can be worn doubled and closes with a secure sterling silver spring loaded clasp. The earrings hang 2 inches down from the top of their sleek hooks and are light in the lobe for all day wearing comfort. The striking duo was hand made by an artist in Newfoundland and is in perfect new like condition. It is not a heavy necklace despite it's length so very comfortable when worn. The outdoor photos show it's color most accurately.
