I am selling this genuine piece from my personal world paper-money collection, a BAHAMAS 1 Dollar Banknote Paper Money Queen Elizabeth II From 1997 KM#43B, circulated. Perfect for collectors and enthusiasts. This is a Bahamian dollar banknote, the currency of the Bahamas since 1966, and is often abbreviated as B$ to distinguish it from other dollar denominated currencies, one Bahamian dollar is divided into 100 cents. The value of the BSD is pegged to the U.S dollar (USD) on a 1:1 basis. As of today, April 25, 2025, 1 BSD is equivalent to 1.389 CAD. The banknote features Queen Elizabeth II, the queen of the United Kingdom, and 15 other Commonwealth realms.
