Bandai Strawberry Shortcake Doll with Custard #15401 2002 First Release New in box Vintage RARE and highly sought-after first release from 2002. This play doll features the beloved character in her iconic red outfit, complete with her adorable pet cat, Custard. Box shows signs of age and damage from storage. Cardboard and plastic has damage. See photos. Doll has never been removed. No longer has a scent, using the scent hole provided in plastic, I can no longer smell the iconic Strawberry Shortcake smell. There is a light scent, which, in my opinion, smells like a box of crayons.

cupkittie @amyflet hi again. Just wondering if you can see if her hair is starting to come loose/balding? I've bought three of this doll so far, all unboxed, and as soon as they arrive, I can see that the hair is already coming off (normal with this generation of SSC dolls). just wondering if yours is different?

amyflet @cupkittie Hi again, I've looked really close at the doll and I see zero hairs falling, but, I do not see the top of the hair as the hat is still secure. The box is still sealed and I'm not willing to open it as it will bring the value down. I am confident that the hair is intact and in its original condition... but if you've received several damaged dolls, perhaps its a batch issue? Let me know if you have any more questions.
