Batik Senopati is a type of batik originating from Yogyakarta. This batik motif was created by Panembahan Senopati, a nobleman from the Islamic Mataram Kingdom. The motif depicts flowing water, symbolizing fertility, abundance, and protection from danger. Batik Senopati is often associated with the Parang motif because of its similarity, but the two have significant philosophical and visual differences.
