This handbag is amazing! This quality of leather doesn't come around often in a nice vintage bag. I'm not sure of the leather but it is very thick so my guess is either buffalo or sharkskin. I think this handbag was made in the 1990s. BCBGMAXAZRIA is tagged both in the front of the purse and inside. Inside is material and leather. The front has a slit and a pocket about 3" deep. There is also a large zippered compartment. Inside has a middle zippered compartment and one side has a zippered side and the other has 2 pockets. There is a magnetic closure, at the top, near the handles. The handles are all leather bound with nice heavy brass hardware. The rivets are heavy and well made and come apart so you can adjust the length of the handle. In the photo the handle is at it's longest. Each side measures 18" (36" total) and there is a nice wide shoulder pad at the top. You can use as tote or as shoulder. This handbag is in amazing vintage shape and very well constructed with quality leather and hardware. The patina is amazing as is the different textures of the leather. When laying flat, measuring from the bottom of the purse to the top, EXCLUDING handles, it measures 12". Across the purse, at the bottom, the length is 12" and the depth at the bottom is 3".
