This is a beautiful green glass E.O. Brody planter made in Cleveland, Ohio in the 1960s. It has a unique texture, and no chips or cracks. This is a perfect holder to plant or to make your own centerpiece display. The green is vibrantly stunning. 4.25" opening 4.5" tall E.O. Brody Co. was founded in 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio. Ernest Oscar Brody's innovative idea was to sell utility glass floral containers exclusively to florists who would market them through wholesale florists. In 1971, the E.O. Brody Company was taken over by Lancaster Colony Corp of Columbus, Ohio. Lancaster continued to market glass utility floral containers and a small number of upscale vases exclusively to wholesale florists for redistribution to retail florists. Eventually the company was purchased and merged with Anchor Hocking.
