We had a traveling boutique for a few years doing Farmers Markets, Motorcycle Rally's, Car Shows, Offroad Events etc. My granddaughter (now retired. LOL!), on the left & me on the right along with the hubby did the set up & selling. My new items are mostly bought wholesale direct from the garment district in L A. I also sell gently warn second time around items. I live in the High Desert where the summers are hot, winters are cold & the flipping wind blows all the time. Posh has been a blessing!

I enjoy doing the shows too but up here in the High Desert it's either too hot, too cold or wayyyy tooooo windy. With the price of fuel to get anywhere it just wasn't economically feasable to drive 50-100 miles to do a show anymore. Billine

billetking @islandgoddess I'm just glad I found Posh and a couple of the other online sites. We live in the high desert of So Cal and the weather is so unpredictable and the wind blows most days. I'm just getting too old for the elements and the lifting. Lol. Love your closet. We've been to Bali twice.

islandgoddess @billetking ahh, we need to keep in touch! I am trying to find some good shows for the summer, I am still doing quite a bit and would love to hear if you have any suggestions! I know what you mean, I toted my daughter around from 6-12 months old pretty much on my own, it was very hard. Wasn't so much the lifting for me luckily but trying to manage being a business person and a mom. Yes, posh, and vinted are really great for me:)👍👍👍 I have been trying some others but haven't been successful yet:( best of luck here on posh! billetking @destinyshea Be careful what you wish for. I had a hour and forty minute commute and wished everyday I didn't have to do that. I'll be damned if they didn't go bankrupt. Took care of my commute. Lol. I went back in to real estate full time and did okay until the whole world went into recession. Started the traveling boutique as a way to supplement. It's fun but not always real profitable. Hope to eventually build this up so it's a viable extra income.

I remember going to pearl parties years ago where they brought a tank of oysters and everyone picked their own and they had different jewelry settings. You could then have your pearl or pearls set in your piece of jewelry.

billetking @silverfoxylady Thank you. Most of the photos were taken with my iPhone 5. I just got a new iPhone 7. Mostly I think it’s the lighting. I’m lucky that one room in my house has decent lighting most of the day. I just bought a lighting kit but haven’t tried it yet. I think that will help make the pictures clearer. The kit comes with three backgrounds. White, black and green. So I think that will help too.

billetking @mommom501 c We Gabe up the traveling boutique while ago. We live in the desert in SO Calif and it’s either too hot, too cold or too windy or too far away and gas prices are ridiculous. LOL. We did however just recently buy a motorhome and thinking about taking the closet on the road. It will take a little 😂😩 readjustment but I think we can do it. 😂😂😂

I’m learning little ways to ease the work load. I really just built my closet up the past two years since we were stuck at home. I went from from about 300 items to over 800.
