A beautiful antique mother-of-pearl (nacre) necklace from Ukraine - “balamuti” (means seducer in Polish, gossip in Ukranian). Similar necklaces were worn as part of traditional costumes in Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Russia, and other neighboring countries.
