Balenciaga Fine Metallic Silk Pleated Jacket

I’ve had this stunning number in my closet for 3 years. It was a gift from a very generous friend of mine. I’ve worn it once and it’s way too big on me. It needs desperately to be seen. It’s a true piece of art. From the SS 2009 runway collection by Nicolas Ghesquière. Stunning jacket made of finely pleated copper silk with metal foil applied on top. High collar, long sleeves, and a unique geometric design with vertical and horizontal lines. Marked size FR 40 and I’m usually a 6/8 jacket for context. Could fit larger sizes due to the expandable nature of the pleated fabric and the open front. It’s a rare find and exquisitely made piece for the right person. I live in Toronto and would be happy to accommodate those interested who would like to try it on before making such a big commitment.
