Barbie Mermaid Fantasy Christie Doll 2002 Mattel Purple Hair Read Description

This Barbie Mermaid Fantasy Christie doll from 2002 by Mattel is in used condition. Christie has minor marks/spots/stain on her face, body and tail. She has been in storage and is dusty/has debris on her. Her crown is missing a bit of paint in the centre of the pearl shape. Her hair is braided so I'm not sure if she's had a haircut. She has some shorter crimped pieces compared to the rest of the hair. Her arms are quite loose. The mechanism on her back makes her arms and head move. Both her hands have some wear and damage on the fingers. One of the elastics on her top is twisted. Her top has some loose threads and there is wear to the fabric. The tail bending mechanism works when you press against the sides of the upper part of her tail. The top of the tail does have a rip/tear (see picture #15). There's some orange/brown light staining on the upper front part of her tail and there is a dark purple spot on the side of her tail around where her tail bends (which would be the knee area on a regular doll). There is a magenta spot on the mermaid tail fin. There's also orange/brown marks/staining at the base of the tail above the fin and some indentations/small cuts around the same area as well (see picture #16). There are some wrinkles in the rubber on both sides of the tail just above where the fin is. Comes from a non-smoking, but pet friendly home.
