Maurice Bastien drew inspiration from the Wendat Marguerite Lawinonkie Vincent, a woman who established a thriving shop of shoes, mittens, snowshoes, and toboggans as early as 1830! Roland Bastien's successful company specializes in manufacturing products worthy of his heritage, including amazing moccasins using traditional techniques. In 2022, Jason Picard-Binet, a proud member of the Huron-Wendat Nation, took over the leadership, and is continuing the work carried out by the Bastien family while bringing a modern twist to it.
