Boho Chic in the California Desert 🧡🍊 Thanks for finding me here on Poshmark. Lately, a few of you have asked about my USERNAME: Atelier27. I am proudly married to a Frenchman, & Atelier translates to a studio or workshop. We live out in the California desert, just outside of Palm Springs. Coachella and Stagecoach are held about 5 miles from my home and I love to be involved in those yearly music festivals, especially w/the fashion aspect! I grew up in Europe and I’m naturally drawn to pieces from Italy & France. I love natural fibers, color and pattern & vintage, statement necklaces & flowy fabrics that translate to desert resort styles. I describe my style as boho chic. I laugh when I tell people that I have 3 jobs - Marketing, Business Consultant & my own company, Atelier27! Poshmark allows me to play with a different side of my personality ~ the fun, colorful, treasure hunt! As all of you know, a LOT of work goes into this; from sourcing, procuring, curating, tracking, photographing, listing accurately, great communication, shipping, etc... Many of my items are from thrift stores, rummage sales & estate sales, my own closet or friends handing off items they no longer want. I sell items on a consignment basis as well. I love to be involved in the reduce, re-use, recycle movement. I study current colors & trends and keep those top of mind as I source. I sew & know my labels, textiles, fabric content, history, design terms and have a solid understanding of vintage.
