Joe is a regular guy who runs a flower shop in the Bronx and has never had much in the way of good luck. Things seem to be grim for Joe when he is diagnosed with a brain tumor. He is told he must have an operation soon, within the next two weeks. Joe goes home early, catching his wife in bed with another man, and she declares she wants a divorce as he is too boring.
