@tconburke from armpit to armpit across the back is 23”. I was a 40 when I bought it and it was generous because of the shawl lapels.

@susan_varga hi, I’m afraid I’m away for a week so can’t get that measurement until next Sunday. Yes, it’s unlined but it’s not knit like a sweater, it’s more of a traditional wool blend fabric (more felted than knit). Hope that helps!
