This beautiful figure has both the Royal Dux Seal and Label - Fine Czech craftsmanship by artist by Jaroslav Ježek. Excellent condition with no marks, chips or scratches. This mid-century ‘futuristic look’ cat ranks among the most beloved porcelain figures of the 1960’s. Hand-made and hand-painted in the Duchcov porcelain factory, early 1960s Czech republic. Their iconic shape, unique eyes and fine pointed tail features are fine examples of the best of early futuristic Modern design.
