🇨🇦 Beautiful Vintage Y2K Prom/Formal Dress-- Made in Canada!

This listing is for a beautiful vintage Y2K-era formal gown. The gown is by Canadian company Reitmans and inside tag confirms that it was made in Canada. This gown is an iridescent burgundy/dark red colour with black undertones. It features a strapless neckline, a drop waist, and a tiered skirt. At one time there would have been optional straps, but the straps are no longer with the dress; the infrastructure is still in place to have different straps added if you want to. The dress zips up the back and has a hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper. There is gripper elastic and boning in the bodice to help keep it sitting nicely in place. There is a light crinoline around the bottom of the underskirt, which shapes the dress more like Aurora's than Belle's, in Disney princess terms. I think there is room to poof it out more if desired. Notes: This dress has not been professionally cleaned; while taking photos I did notice some small marks near the hem that do seem like they would come out. I haven't noticed any other stains, rips, problems with seams, etc. The zipper works well-- it is not done up fully in the mannequin photos because the dress is just a bit too small for the mannequin.
