This black crochet and lace maxi dress is a must-have for this summer. Semi-transparent and easygoing, it’s perfect for sunny days and date nights. Made in Italy, it consists of 65% cotton to keep it breathable on hot days, while the 35% polyamide ensures the fabric is durable and resistant to color fading, a common issue with 100% cotton materials. Partially lined to reveal just enough skin around the waist and hem, it features a hidden side zipper for a seamless look. The dress fits perfectly around the waist and fans out at the skirt thanks to the tiered panel. It also includes adjustable straps, a V-neck, and a low back. The first picture is not the actual dress but it is very close to the cut and fit of the dress. allison2410 @brunjuliette does the dress have some give at the top? or is the top not forgiving? my similar clothes have the same measurements but have some stretch in them.

brunjuliette @allison2410 hello Allison :) I just checked and it depends where you need some give. Pit to pit has some give as the buttons are on an elastic button hole. For the waist, it’s a bit less stretchy. For reference, all my measurements are taken flat without stretching at all.

brunjuliette @allison2410 Here are the measurements on the listing: Pit to pit: 14 inches but can stretch at least 1-1.5 inches more. Waist: 12 inches can stretch to 13 inches but I feel 12.5 inches would be the most I would stretch it to keep it comfortable and not risk overstretching it or overworking the zipper.
