Beautiful & rare Marble carved Foo Dog Bookends Extremely old and very detailed

Standing at a tall 7 1/2" these stunning Foo dogs are absolutely beautifully detailed. The base is carved as well. Just so much attention to detail including the three cranes (one that sits atop the back of the Foo dog on one is missing, but the other is fully intact). While on some items this would be problematic, on these it shows the age and the historical value that these have. Even the teeth of the dogs are visible. Exceptional craftsmanship in these. Not cookie cutter by any stretch of the imagination. On the one with the three birds, one ear has been chipped, but again, not really an issue. If you are a collector, these are sincerely a must have. The weight is about 9 lbs overall. I would guesstimate their age to be possibly 19th or even earlier? I cannot and will not guarantee that, an expert would have to do that, but I know that their age is significant. I have been considering listing them on 1stDibs, but will try this first.
