Beautifully crafted gemstone & silver flower pendant from Thailand

A friend brought this piece back from her travels in the 80s. About 7/8 inch in diameter, it features a large garnet in a gilded and etched frame at the centre and garnets and other gems - amethyst, peridot, topaz? - as petals. It is unmarked but was tested as silver by the jeweller who brought it to full bloom with a cleaning and polishing. I have added a bail that I don't think is silver. (d)
