Custom artwork designed in Canada by Clancy Gibson. ------------ About the Artist: Clancy Gibson was born in North Vancouver in 1950. He studied locally at Capilano College and Emily Carr School of Art. He moved to Toronto in 1979 and focused on a successful career as a commercial artist. His work for magazines and corporate campaigns have been published internationally. Clancy has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Vancouver and Toronto and has won numerous awards from Art Directors Clubs of Vancouver, Toronto and New York. Inspiration for his painting has always been the landscape, and his west coast environs of the water and plant life are reflected in his work. Clancy returned to his hometown of Vancouver in 1993, where he continues to do commercial work and has fun designing all of The Original Canadaiian Shirt products.
