Birks Vintage Coasters Set of 4 in Original Box Glass & Silver Plate or Ashtrays Lovely set of 4 vintage Birks of Canada coasters/ashtrays in original box. So beautiful and refined. The perfect addition to your bar cart, living room or drinks table. Could also be used as a trinket holders for jewelry, keys or loose change. Made in Italy. Rims are marked Primrose Plate and EP Brass with cut glass (crystal?) bottoms.(Google search reveals EP stands for electro plate or electro plated nickel silver over copper/brass base metal) ***Please note first and last pictures (#1, #15) are not my photos. They show similar coasters out of plastic and were included for style reference only. Each coaster is approximately 0.75 inches tall by 4 inches across (rim to rim diameter). Glass interior is 3” across and 0.25” high. Box measures 9.25” x 9.25” -Condition: Very good vintage condition. All 4 Coasters are still sealed in original plastic and have no cracks. But the metal rims are tarnishing in some spots. Will need polishing. The box shows medium wear (dings, rips & tape) and is in fair vintage condition.
