Black Leather Backpack - Atlas Supply Co.

Project for a sewist or leather worker. This is a super beautiful backpack in black leather, designed and made by Atlas Supply Co. I bought secondhand and used it very lightly for a few months. Unfortunately, the straps came apart and the leather started disintegrating in that area. The body is in very decent condition, zippers all work. It has been conditioned and well cared for. The leather looks nice. Inside is in pristine condition. Lining is in great shape, i love the design of this bag as there is a removable insert that divides the main compartment into upper and lower. Great for camera equipment, baby stuff etc. Also a laptop area. The other functional issue is the magnet closure needs to be repaired. If I had time, I would totally fix this. I truly adore the bag and wish it could have been I got to wear in slowly with time and cherish. Happy to answer more specific questions and provide more images by request. The separate laptop section holds up to a 15″ laptop with padded siding & bottom for extra protection. This is also a great section for books, papers and folders. The main compartment can be secured with a zipper and a magnetic flap. There are two inner pockets large enough for an ipad mini. The inside features what we’ve coined “the shelf”, a removable piece of padding that separates the inner section in half. (We swear by the bottom section for camera gear, diapers and shoes to name a few.) Open to offers!
