I had received your initial offer of half the asking price for these shoes and countered with what I thought was a reasonable discount, anticipating that you would come back with something lower and we would find our way to a middle ground that was comfortable for both of us. Your response was to post a third-party ad to a different pair of shoes at a lower price.

littlebearsnt I got the message-you feel that you can get a different pair of shoes at a lower price if you use a retail site. That’s cool! I have these particular pairs of shoes and I’m asking so much for them, because that’s what I would like to get for them. Most times I list things at a particular price because I know people are paying as much for the experience of getting a deal as they are for the product themselves, and I’m ready and willing to accommodate that by negotiating to leave a customer happy.

littlebearsnt The last few days I’ve been getting decreasing offers from you even after turning down your initial offer of half the asking price. Day 1 is 45, day 2 is 40, day 3 is 35, etc. I’m glad you’re having a laugh, but this isn’t my style.
