Beautiful hand-crafted piece, with a matte black color, made in Colombia by an indigenous community of La Chamba, Tolima, Columbia. It is a small scale Amazon item with few purchased. Landed price is over $80. List price is Firm. I got it because I love these things. I didn't end up using it. It is new. There is some wear on the protruding portion because the item was very poorly protected as expected from and indigenous community with cheap wrapping paper and very little protection and it held up the trip. Even if you decide not to cook with it... it's a beautiful piece of hand made genuine traditional indigenous pottery.
