rockdahouse @e_bouillon Its a special edition coin for collectors and the Canadian Mint Charges $80 plus tax for a $50 roll, so the government is alreadt charging almost double, so its worth more than $2. Its not uncommon for collectors to resell the coins either.

rockdahouse @e_bouillon I am a coin collector and I bought a roll of the Canada Post website, so I would say the research is done. Canada Post and The Canadian Mint sell a roll of 25 toonies/$50 of these ones for $79 plus tax. There is 30,000 of them in circulation. It collectors edition the honors the queens death, the black toonie. You research it please.
