Blackfish Pewter Artisan Organic Shape Bowl with Starfish and Seashell Details

This is one of two bowls from British Columbia Artisan Blackfish Pewter. Each piece takes many hours of skill and patience to create such a beautiful piece of art that can sit on your counter, dining room table, coffee table, or an interesting display piece. I have loved both of these bowls, and usually used them as a fruit bowl. They are food safe. Although these are pewter, they are a warm patina. I find the color to work well with both cool and warm tones in decor. We've moved and I've changed most of my decor and these are the last few pieces I've been hanging on to simply because I'm attached to them, but I think it's time they find a new home where their beauty is appreciated and they are used. I love the uneven shape, the organic feel and texture. I love the little details of the frog and dragonfly perched on the edge. I love the feel in my hand of the rough texture. I love the sound they make when I took a bannana out and it spins on the counter. It's not a bowl, it's an experience!
