A lovely, antique little three-legged bowl, with a sort of scalloped shape, hand-painted with roses, blue trim, and some gilt decoration. Ceramic marking reads "HANDPAINTED / NIPPON" with a crown and star logo, this means it was made between 1891-1921. Please note that similar pieces have tested positive for lead [ tinyurl.com/nipponlead ] so this should not be used for food or kept around young children.
