Blue & Black Glass Beaded vintage Satchel from 1920c

This is actually quite a timeless bag. It would have been quite fashionable between 1900 and 1930 and would still be quite a fashion statement today. It is handmade with beautifully knitted fine silk yarn, and then beaded with a ridiculous number of aurora borealis navy glass beads. Then it is topped off with a delicate open crochet work that just gives a peek into the golden silk lining. There is a navy silk drawstring to open and close the bag, and allow it to dangle gracefully from your wrist. How perfect! The bag is in excellent condition with no beads missing and the silk lining completely intact. A small wallet is attached to the inner lining. The glorious days of the belle epoque may be gone forever, but this bag lives on. Very rare and unique statement piece.
