One zippered end fully opens , the other end opens 1/2 way & one small side opening where you can pur your hand inside to pet your furbaby In EUC except the removable bottom piece has the rubber cover coming off at seams one end. It can be duct taped or as neighbour did where they wrapped it in a towel and then in a pillowcase to provide a soft bottom while taking furbaby to vet appts.
