would you mind letting me know what the measurements are for the bust line and is there some stretch to the fabric? Also wondering if the velvet is a dark black and of good quality. I'm looking for a jacket to go over a 1600.00 floor length Dillard's black sleeveless gown I bought so I need it to match. thank you

@lagrenier_13 Hello! I will measure pit to pit and post when I’m home tomorrow. It does have darts at the breast and does a good amount of stretch. It is very black but I know blacks can vary. The velvet is more “stiff” as apposed to a velour. I have worn this coat formally but matching with a dress you would want to consider the style. This is very military looking with the epaulettes and breast pockets. Cheers
