Lightweight sterling silver metal brooch. It belonged to my grandmother. The Canadian company Bond Boyd is known among fans of antique and vintage jewelry for its classic design, thanks to which its jewelry is always relevant and can be passed on in the family from generation to generation. Incorporated in the 1940s, the company’s heyday peaked in the 1950-1960s. In the 1970s, Bond Boyd decided to end the production of jewelry made of precious metals but continued to produce jewelry made of jewelry alloys.
