Maison Dupré French match striker, also known as a pyrogène. These are reproductions of match strikers commonly found in French bistros during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is made from porcelain with hand-painted lines and accents. The ribbed exterior of the pot is designed to be a striking surface for matches. Made by Bonnecaze in Baton Rouge Louisiana.
