Made in Canada, vintage circa 60s, a spectacular open works statement butterfly pin/brooch by a popular collectible costume jewelry maker Avon of Belleville ( not to be confused with Avon Co), the brand was founded in the 40s by Mazer/Jomaz and the majority of its jewelry was designed by Boucher, the brooch signed Avon in stylized italics script and numbered 3116 , the brooch is made out of yellow gold plated metal, accented with rhinestones in clear and yellow topaz tones in the butterfly body and filigree style wings, it will surely add a sparkle to your outfit or make a nice addition to any collection, a rare find not to miss! Condition: pre-owned vintage condition, some normal wear/aging signs as seen in the close up photos, from a non-smoking environment. Measurements: 7 cm.
