purchased Nov 18 2022 snap closure the chain straps aren't stretchy, but it is accordion-like (it kind of expands a little, see the very small difference in the close up shots of the chain) bottom is structured (plastic or something inside to keep the shape) base measurements: 4 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches it can fit a 6 inch phone, but you can tell it's in the bag. better to put smaller things in it so it's not misshapen
